At Make Mend Studio, workshops are where craft, community, and sustainability come together. Designed for all skill levels, they’re a welcoming space to slow down, learn practical sewing techniques, and explore creative ways to make and mend.
Whether you’re brand new to sewing or looking to build on your skills, each workshop offers the chance to connect with others, share ideas, and celebrate the value of handmade. Rooted in the Highlands, these sessions are about more than sewing; they’re about keeping clothes in circulation, reducing waste, and building a creative community that cares.

Ready to make, mend, and create? Book your workshop today and discover the joy of sustainable sewing in good company.
Do I need any sewing experience?
Not at all! All workshops are beginner-friendly and suitable for every skill level.
You’ll be guided step by step, with plenty of support along the way!
What do I need to bring?
For most workshops, nothing but yourself; all sewing materials, tools, and equipment are provided.
If it’s a themed class like ‘Repair & Rewear‘, you’ll be encouraged to bring along your own items to work on.
Can I come on my own?
Absolutely! Many people attend solo, and workshops are designed to be warm and welcoming.
They’re a relaxed way to meet new people, share ideas, and even make a few new friends while you sew.
